Bartender Chapter 69 – Cape Horner

Drink of the Day:

Salty Dog

  • 45 ml Gin (or Vodka)
  • Grapefruit Juice
  • Salt

Comments (Spoiler Alert):

Sasakura saves the day again with a little white lie.  Although I think his lie didn’t make too much sense.  There’s no point for Takeshi to teach the Sasakura about “Half Moon” and expect him to convey a message to his brother.  But I think there’s no point in dwelling in the details of a fabrication.

One thing I find interesting is that Kenichi’s fiancee disappeared after he came back to the bar.  From Kenichi’s response, he didn’t expect both the brother and fiancee to be gone, but he didn’t sound too surprised either.  It might not be weird for the brother to leave without saying a word, since they just had a fight, but you’d expect him to be surprised that the fiancee left, and yet he just sat down and start chatting with Sasakura.  Not saying that this is a plot hole or anything, but it’s something interesting to think about.

I guess the fiancé is used to being abandoned for work? Don’t know how long that marriage will last.
    Thanks for the chappie.

Chapter seems to be missing from Mangareader.

They have it now. I don’t know how to submit it directly to them, so sometimes you just have to wait for it.
