Need Help Again (Spoiler Alert)

Once again, I’m having trouble finding information regarding something in the chapter. Normally it’s some random trivia, but this time, it’s the cocktail of the story. So it’s something that I can’t overlook.

— Spoiler Alert —
I need information on the cocktail “Polar Shortcut”, by Paul Doscher(?) of Copenhagen. It’s made with the following ingredients: Dark Rum, White Curacao, Cherry Brandy, Dry Vermouth.
Thus far ,I have been able to find some reference to every single drink the author mentioned. This is the first time that I got nothing back from Google. If anyone knows where to find information on this cocktail, please let me know.
— End Spoiler —

I really appreciate all the help I’ve gotten from the past responses.
Thanks!

Here goes an idea. It’s not much but its what I have at the moment.

The Polar Bear (cocktail) from wiki as an interesting recipe that is very close to the recipe you have:

Polar Bear Cooler, using 2 oz Dark rum, 1 oz red vermouth, 1 oz lime juice, 1/2 orange juice, and 3 1/2 oz 7-up. Pour into a collins glass filled with broken ice and add a spiral of lemon. Garnish with an orange wedge and cherry.

Now, from my understanding White Curacao as a taste of orange, as it is made from orange peel of the island of Curacao. Orange juice would be cheaper but perhaps add the same taste?

The 7-up would had some sugar to the mix, replacing the cherry brandy.

Overall it make a cheaper drink. Not sure where the author is taking his recipes but it could be THE original recipe that changed with time.

    Hope it help
    I’ll keep looking

and an italian website for the The SAS Polar Short Cut

with the name Leopold Douchar, 1957, Copenhagen

I think this might be it! Although the date is a different from what was stated in the manga, it certainly looks right. I couldn’t find any additional info on this Leopold Douchar (just to confirm). Were there any other websites that talks about him?

While it doesn’t talk about the cocktail itself, it talked about a cocktail competition sponsored by SAS airline, which Belgium sent “Leopold Douchars” which he won. There is a possibility that the winning cocktail is then called Polar Shortcut, cause the first prize for winning the competition was to be on the flight to Tokyo, en route over the North Pole, the first time for the airline, therefore a “shortcut” through the “polar ice”…

please hit the links for more detail
it could be the drink created to celebrate the introduction of the flight or may be to serve on the flight?
