Bartender Chapter 26 – A Drink for the Traveler

Hi All, this is the first chapter I posted in a while.  There’s really no solid reason on why I haven’t uploaded anything.  Kinda just didn’t feel it.  But here’s chapter 26.

Drink of the Day:

Chartreuse and Tonic

  • 2 oz Chartreuse
  • 5 oz Tonic Water

Thoughts (Spoiler Alert):

The final chapter that reveals who Sasakura’s master really is and how things have changed since then.  This is really one of my favorite stories in the whole series, not only for it’s touching story, but also how it demonstrates that bartending is not just about skill, but also requires experience.  Kitagata admits that Sasakura is a more skillful bartender, but a big part of bartending is experience, and that’s why Kitagata can still help Sasakura, and he can still guide him to become a better bartender.

Nice, it was just like the very last part of the last episode of Bartender 8D

Nice story, kinda similar to the Visage of a Bar chapters. Sasakura doesn’t know the situation so he makes rude comments toward his senior.

Thanks for the chapter! I never knew they used sugar cubes instead of cups originally.

Yea, I’ve been slacking for the past few weeks. I’m very thankful that people have been waiting patiently, and also thankful that no one has flamed me. 🙂
