Thoughts (Spoiler Alert):

One of my favorite stories in the whole manga.  It’s more down to earth, and it’s much easier to relate to than the previous 3-part story about a world-class singer who drinks her self to death every night.  I also just like stories that revolve around Kyouko in general, so it’s great to see the author talk about her past a little.

I think this story also teaches a good lesson about professionalism.  There are times when things don’t always go as we plan at work, and it’s hard to keep our personal lives and opinions out of it.  Especially people who work in universities and schools.  I feel that there is so much politics within the “business” that it’s hard not to take things personally.  I have a friend who got screwed over at work.  She worked her ass off on a project, and her co-worker who handed in the project took all the credit.  When she told her manager about it, all her manager said “it’s your fault for letting her hand in that project, it’s every person for themselves here”.  I don’t think anyone can have that happen to them and not take it personally.   I wouldn’t even know how to react if that kind of thing happened to me at work.
