Comments (Spoiler Alert):

This is a pretty touching chapter that really recaps what started this manga.  Although I think there has been some inconsistency in Kamishima’s personality (from chapter 1 of the manga til now), but that’s a common thing that can happen as a manga evolves.  Many chapters revolved around recruiting the building and designing of Hotel Cardinal, so it’s good to see that it all came to fruition.

The part that I really can’t accept is where Sasakura tells Kamishima to show his daughter Hotel Cardinal as a means to show her that she has grown.  I don’t know if this is different in Asian culture, but I doubt showing your kids the product of your hard work can overwrite all the neglect you have shown them.  For kids, it’s a pretty big deal that their parents would participate in their school events, and I think a constant absence from those events will create a void in the parent-child relationship that can’t be filled.  I don’t know if Sasakura is just trying to encourage Kamishima or something, but I just think it’s a stupid idea in general.  The fact that Kamishima agrees is even more strange.
